I remember seventh grade science. It was one of my favorite subjects in school. I was fascinated by the idea that one small hole poked into a container can help the air flow and replace the liquid inside being poured out making the flow of water out of the plastic bottle much more smoothly than just by using the hole at the top of the bottle.

Social Security is that bottle. I never believed that it would be around for me at retirement, the government has for too long abused it's power by stealing from the fund and all the while bemoaning the fact that the fund is going broke. It is said that there will be no Social Security fund available in less than 30 years, if that, by just distributing it to our citizens who have paid into it all their lives.

Goverment fought the idea of privatizing SS with aggressive denial of the facts of the case. SS is going broke. And now, with his finger firmly in the air feeling the winds from down south of the border, Arnold, and others in our beloved Republican party want to make SS available for illegal aliens after only being in our country for a year and a half.

But they are contributing to SS, Dave, it wouldn't be fair to not include them in the payouts. All right then, let's set aside the millions who are working under fake SS numbers and those who have stolen a citizens identity and are using his/her SS number, ( and there are plenty of those.) is it right to give out to people who are non-citizens the funds that are put there for the retirement of our citizens?

The resounding answer is NO! The majority of these guest workers pay little to nothing in taxes and more nothing than little in SS. Our bucket is leaking and the Republicans and Democrats want to poke one more hole in it! Why? Because Latino voters won't like discrimination against their illegal brothers and sisters? Because the Latino vote might be lost to whatever party stands up and points out this latest attack on our country?

So be it! I don't believe Latinos who have half a brain will be pushing for this because as loyal as they may be to family, this is money taken from their own pockets! We CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN! If it does we might as well kiss our futures goodbye.

Let's see if we can put this so it can be understood.

If a person were to break into your home, steal your food, your livelihood, and demand to take up residence in a room paid for and provided by you, that's bad enough. But for that person then to insist that you take money from your bank account and give it to him because he loses money in the couch you paid for and feels that he is contributing to your home, I have a feeling you would be hesitant to do so. Now add to that the fact that your account isn't unlimited and you won't have enough of what you earned to pay your bills should he take your funds, now you understand.

Are we going to sit by and let our trusted government leaders give our hard earned dollars away? The next time you are in the voting booth, and you think you are voting for the lesser of two evils, consider this, it is the definition of insanity.
