Oprah Winfrey has solidified her spirit of antiChrist by disclaiming the unique incarnation of God in Christ by blurring Christ as "energy" per National Religious Broadcaster’s ‘Inside NRB’ Craig Parshall.
Oprah states that "’Jesus came to show us Christ-consciousness.
"’Jesus came to show us the way of the heart. . .
"’Jesus came to say, "Look, I’m going to live in the body, in the human body, and I’m going to show you how it’s done." These are some principles and some laws that you can use to live by to know that way.’"
Immediately biblically knowledgeable Christians pick up Oprah’s New Age jargon.
As Oprah has countless followers, she leads them into "spirituality" that is not biblical. Now she is espousing New Age voice Eckhart Tolle’s "A New Earth." With her endorsement alone, his book sales have skyrocketed.
"’I don’t believe that Jesus came to start Christianity,’ Oprah said,"
With that, Oprah mixes Buddhism and positive thinking techniques into a little bit of Jesus and comes up with her own "faith" that is contrary to God’s Word.
Jesus came to die as God upon the cross. His sinless Sacrifice is the offering to satisfy eternity’s justice due to mortal’s Fall in the Garden of Eden.
Those who repent of their sins to the sinless Sacrifice, confess Him as Lord, receive God’s mercy, their sins thereby cleansed from the soul. This is salvation. It is the assurance that one will not spend eternity in hell but in heaven. It is also the start of the Jesus holiness journey here on Earth.
Jesus is not mere "energy." He is not simply an example of how to know deity in the human body. Jesus is not seated alongside Buddha as a source of higher something-or-other.
Oprah cancels out the biblical data regarding the divinity of Jesus by making Jesus out to be another path to nirvana. With that, Oprah continues her role as prophetess of a false religion.
With Oprah’s Jesus, one is not morally accountable in the sense that one can write his own ethical code. It may allow for homosexual activity, for example. Homosexual activity per biblical data is abhorrent to God.
For those who state that Christ, per New Testament, never said anything about homosexuality, they are incorrect. Christ, the Second Person of the Trinity, speaks when the God of the Old Testament speaks.
Oprah’s Jesus is easy religion in that it focuses on psychological pie-in-the-sky good feeling "faith" rather than what the Bible defines as eternal verities. The Bible makes free will agent mortal accountable for his actions, words and motives. The Bible presents a judgment day at the close of earthly life. The Bible thereby calls for repentance of sins, acceptance of God’s call to holiness, and a life lived out according to the biblical morality.
All of this is foreign to Oprah’s Jesus. Her take on religion is as old as Eden’s lie. It is nothing new.
