I think I've come up with a foolproof plan to end crime in America, and I have liberalism to thank for it. It consists of disbanding every police unit in the country and encouraging the United Nations Security Council to draft a binding resolution that places strict sanctions on domestic criminals who continue to break the law.( Read Article )

The dominant view today among legal scholars, law professors, practicing
lawyers, and judges in this country is that the Constitution is a "living, breathing" document, and that judges on the highest federal benches are charged with "reinterpreting" its text so that it will better conform to "the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society" such as ours.( Read Article )

What do Ronald Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter all have in common, aside from the fact that history will judge them to be among the most successful people in their respective fields? Why, they're right-wing extremists, of course, and although one of them is no longer with us, he's still regarded with as much contempt as any living conservative, by people like Dan Rather and Ted Kennedy. If you are a conservative who believes that the current leaders of the Republican party are abandoning your core values, and ignoring your opinions on issues like judicial activism, border security, healthcare, public education, the United Nations, Social Security, government spending, and U.S. Energy Policy, then join me in promoting the idea of a conservative political convention in the coming year.( Read Article )

Well, Pinko De Mayo has come and gone, and this year's celebration of the Bolshevik Revolution by communism's useful idiots had new life breathed into it in the United States. Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and their misguided supporters decided to protest against the rule of law in our country on the one day of the year that reminds most older Americans of the genocidal policies of men like Joseph Stalin and Pol Pot.( Read Article )

So I'm sitting at my computer this morning scanning the internet news websites like I do every day, when I happen upon an article in the 'Frankfort Times' titled "Sen. Targets Oil Cos. Over Rising Prices". (1) The Sen. in question, it turns out, is Senator Arlen Specter (2), one of the more left-leaning, and consequently, ridiculous of the GOP's leaders.( Read Article )

Every morning I log onto the worldwide web, not because I'm a computer geek, but because I want to understand what's going on in the world. I've long since turned my back on the print media for accurate and timely news reporting, and it's getting to the point where I can't even bring myself to watch a televised news broadcasts anymore, simply because tv networks can't seem to report on much of anything these days without insulting my intelligence with some sort of politically correct blather.( Read Article )

This past Monday, CBS, otherwise known as See? BS!, Al-Jazeera West, and the Corrupt Broadcasting System, proved once again that it is nothing but a shameless propaganda tool of the Democrat party, by releasing the results of a poll it rigged... uh... conducted recently showing that President Bush's popularity rating has plummeted to an all-time low of 34 percent.

Back on February 11th, I was very troubled to learn that a government-run United Arab Emirate (UAE) company called Dubai Ports World (DPW) had bought out a UK-owned ports group called the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company, giving it control of roughly 30 percent of the terminals at U.S. seaports in New York, Miami, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Baltimore and New Orleans.( Read Article )

On the 7th of February, 2006, Coretta Scott King was memorialized at the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia, eight days after her death from complications of a stroke at the age of 78. Among the thousands of people in attendance were President George W. Bush and his First Lady, Laura. Former Presidents George H. W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton were also there, as well as former First Ladies Hillary Clinton and Rosalynn Carter.( Read Article )

Former Vice President Al Gore gave another one of his famous anti-Bush speeches(1) last week before an enthusiastic audience of left-wing extremists called the 'Liberty Coalition' at the Daughters of the American Revolution Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., and a more annoying compilation of unsubstantiated accusations I've not heard in recent times.( Read Article )

In her most recent Human Events column titled 'This Is Why We Don't Trust Democrats With National Security', Ann Coulter relates that "The Democratic Party has decided to express indignation at the idea that an American citizen who happens to be a member of al Qaeda is not allowed to have a private conversation with Osama bin Laden," adding that "If they run on that in 2008, it could be the first time in history a Republican president takes even the District of Columbia."( Read Article )

So let me get this straight, last week John McCain insisted that the President agree on an amendment (1) prohibiting the torture of war detainees by the U.S. government, or the good Senator and his fellow "moderates" in the Upper House of Congress would refuse to pass the 2006 Defense Appropriations Bill to which it's attached.( Read Article )

The "mainstream" media today, in a stunning display of left-wing bias, engaged in a coordinated anti-war propaganda campaign designed to overshadow an attempt by President Bush on Thursday to rally America's troops. I don't think I have to point out to anyone just how horrendous the situation down in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama is today. Hurricane Katrina has proved to be the worst natural disaster to strike the United States since the San Francisco earthquake of 1906, and the effects of this unprecedented catastrophe will surely be felt in this country for many months, and perhaps years to come.( Read Article )

If one were to rely exclusively on the left-leaning media as a source for information on the war, one would be led to believe that you folks in our armed forces are getting your backsides kicked all over the Middle East these days, and what's more, the humiliating defeats you're suffering are coming at the hands of "insurgents", "militants", or "rebel fighters".( Read Article )

Ronald Reagan, like all presidents, made a few mistakes while he was in
office, and one of his more regrettable blunders was nominating a judge
by the name of Sandra Day O’Connor for a position on the highest court
in the land.

Although many people in the left-wing media like to refer to her as a
"moderate" jurist, that characterization only proves that they have no
idea what a judge’s job actually is. Using the word moderate to describe
a judge, is like using the word Jewish to describe a cat. The term
simply does not apply. It is a political distinction, and part of a
judge’s job is to be apolitical.( Read Article )

If I became the President of the United States tomorrow, the first thing I’d do is hold a press conference, and condemn the actions of the Republican "moderates" who sold out their constituents during the recent filibuster fight in the Senate. I’d call them cowards for not supporting those outstanding judicial nominees who’ve been constantly denigrated by liberals over the past two years, and leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that I was NOT concerned with my party, but with the moral and ethical foundation upon which conservatism is built.( Read Article )

Remember when John F. Kerry testified before the Senate Committee on
Foreign Relations back in 1971? Just in case you forgot, or never knew
about it in the first place, here’s a taste of what he said. "They
told the stories at times they had personally raped,
cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to
human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies,
randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of
Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and
generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam."( Read Article )
