Dear Republican Party, For several years we (loyal conservatives) have supported the Republican Party because of its promises to return our country to its prior greatness of limited government and numerous freedoms, most notably economic and educational. Friday, June 24, 2005 04:02:00 AM
Well if there was ever a time to begin impeachment proceedings upon justices, now would be that time. Today, the Supreme Court of the United States effectively discarded our fundamental right to private property. Gone are the days when you could feel safe and secure in home. Several years ago, while living in New York, a friend from church told me an interesting story from her childhood in Cuba. As her story goes, a grade school teacher told the class to put their heads down and pray to God for candy. As expected, the children immediately lowered their heads in hopes of the sweet treats that would follow. Of course, when they raised their head they did so in disappointment, seeing no candy lying before them. At this point the teacher told the students to again lower their heads, but this time to ask Fidel Castro for candy. Surprise, surprise, when the kids lifted their heads they found candy in front of each of them. Sunday, March 20, 2005 04:39:00 PM
Our beloved, honest, freedom-loving U.N. is at it again. This time they are trying, in one full swoop, to garner the wealth and power they have only previously dreamed of. Sad thing is, they may actually succeed this time. How will they accomplish this? Through a little known, and rarely reported on treaty called the LOST Treaty. The LOST Treaty purports to give the U.N. control (read sovereignty) over international waters. Big deal you say? How could this possibly affect our sovereignty? Well imagine this: by giving the U.N. power over international waters they will essentially be able to regulate transportation, drilling, and fishing just to name a few. |
